A micro grid or isolated grid, is a set of electricity generators and possibly energy storage systems interconnected to a distribution network that supplies electricity to a localized communities that may not have access to grid for many years. Often, micro grid involve multiple energy sources like solar, wind, water or fuel as a way of incorporating renewable power. It operates independently from the main power grid.

THE HYBRID MICRO GRID PROJECT
at Kpakiama of Bomadi LGA, Delta State
Micro grid was installed to provide power for this off-grid community of about 200 households in the remote area of Delta state. The system is scalable, it consists of Solar Force products; digital inverter, TUV certiﬁed panel, batteries and other accessories. Smart meter was installed to give a preset peak power for each household.

Micro grid was installed to provide power for this off-grid community of about 150 households in the remote area of Rivers state. This is a scalable system.
